THE #1 WAY TO REPLACE MISSING TEETH

Are you one of 70% of Americans who have lost at least one tooth?

Postponing treatment for your missing teeth, can have a significant impact on your oral health — and can have serious long-term consequences. From jaw bone loss to shifting teeth—which lead to misaligned bites, jaw pain, and teeth grinding—missing teeth can do a lot of damage in the long term.

affordable dental implants

Dental implants look stable and natural — just like real teeth! Constructed from bio-compatible titanium, teeth implants are small, metal posts that are surgically inserted into your gum line. One post and crown are placed in each empty socket to act as teeth, roots and crowns.

Dental implants can replace a single tooth, several adjacent teeth, and even a full arch (upper or lower jaw). The process is largely the same regardless of where the surgery is done and for how many teeth the implant is being placed.

dental implant basics

Dental implants rarely need replacing—they can last the rest of your life with proper care!
The rest of your teeth remain intact when using dental implants, as opposed to bridges that require a tooth (or two) be filed down to take the crown that supports the bridge.
You don't have to worry about removing dental implants to care for them, allowing you more convenience.
If bone loss has left your jawbone too weak for implants, we can perform a bone graft to encourage bone regrowth, giving us a solid foundation into which we can place your new implant(s).
Fixed hybrid dental implants and the All-On-4® technique allow us to stabilize dentures using strategically placed dental implants. Dentures feel more comfortable and secure, and you don't have to use messy adhesives to keep them in place.

the dental implant care process at BlueDot Dental Gilbert

Using advanced dental technology, Dr. Jeziorski provides a full scope of dental care to treat dental health at the source, not the symptom. For patients, this translates into better service, better efficiency, and the reward of a healthy smile that has been designed to last. Digital dentistry has several benefits:

Initial Consult - We will take x-rays to prepare for the placement of your dental implants. You can discuss your comfort needs and what you want to gain from your implant dentistry experience.
Placement - You will be given local anesthesia and Novocaine before the procedure starts. Remember what it’s like to get a cavity filled? The dental implant procedure feels similar!
Restoration - After your mouth heals, which can take anywhere from three to four months, we will secure the permanent crowns to the implants, allowing you to smile and use your mouth normally with confidence and ease.

why dental implants are the best options

Dental implants are the ideal solution for fixing missing teeth, and here’s why.

  • YOU’LL LOOK YOUNGER AND HEALTHIER

Dental implants not only restore physical appearance but also prevent jawbone deterioration and other residual issues.

  • YOU’LL SPEAK AND SOUND BETTER

With poor-fitting dentures, the teeth can slip within the mouth causing you to mumble or slur your words. Dental implants allow you to speak without the worry that teeth might slip.

  • YOUR ORAL HEALTH WILL IMPROVE (…AND NO MORE BAD BREATH)

Because nearby teeth are not altered to support the implant, more of your own teeth are left intact, improving long-term oral health.

  • YOU’LL HAVE A BETTER QUALITY OF LIFE

Removable dentures are just that; removable. Dental implants eliminate the embarrassing inconvenience of removing dentures.

  • YOU’LL WORRY LESS, AND SMILE MORE

Success rates of dental implants vary, depending on where in the jaw the implants are placed but, in general, dental implants have a success rate of up to 98%. With proper care, implants can last a lifetime.

the dental implant procedure

Getting a tooth implant is a relatively straightforward dental procedure. A titanium post, called an abutment, is put into the gum socket and screwed down into the bone where your tooth once was. It then heals and combines with your bone, becoming a permanent fixture of your mouth.

During the healing process, a temporary tooth is placed on top of the abutment. Once the healing has completed, a permanent tooth is put on the abutment, and you’ll find that you can eat, speak, and chew like normal.

Our Technology

Here at BlueDot Dental Gilbert, we use a cone beam machine when placing tooth implants. This allows us to make a 3-D rendering of what is going on within your mouth at the time, making sure that the tooth replacement you get fits perfectly within the space you have in your mouth. Since we can see the exact space available for your false tooth, it allows us to create the perfect restoration that won’t cause you any discomfort when it is placed.
